Florida/Myrtle Beach 2010 - Day 1

Alrighty, So my mom and I have been planning this trip for several months, then at the last minute Emily decided she wanted to come too, and thus began our huge journey/adventure that we like to call vacation (holiday for my UK friends and family).

So day 1 begins with us finishing up packing and heading to the Ontario airport for the kids first airplane ride. In typical Emily style we are prepared for child entertainment with a litany of DVDs, Nintendo DSs, and coloring books. We arrive in plenty of time, and thankfully our gate is really close.

The first leg of our flight is to Denver, which is pretty quick, Blake is a bit nervous at takeoff and landing, but for the most part everyone does great.

After about 1 hour in Denver we are off to Orlando. This is the longest jump on this flight, and is sufficiently filled with movies and more DS games. The crew took kindly to the kids and loaded us up with plastic airplane wings and luggage tags.

So we are now in Orlando, and it is pretty late, doesn't feel that bad though with the time change. Rental car picked up and we are off to our room.
